Linda Micsko has worked alongside some of Australia’s leading producers on feature
films such as Lore, Animal Kingdom, Dead Europe, The Hunter, Prime Mover, The
Home Song Stories, Jewboy and Little Fish in roles varying from Associate Producer,
Co Producer to Executive in Charge of Production at Porchlight Films.
Most recently, Linda produced series two of the critically acclaimed ABC / Netflix
comedy The Letdown. Prior to this, Linda produced the Matchbox Pictures / NBCU /
ABC comedy series Maximum Choppage, the ABC comedy series Laid, the ABC ‘Fresh
Blood’ TV Pilot The Record, and the TV Pilot Dream Life.
Linda’s last short film Franswa Sharl, won the Crystal Bear for Best Short Film at the
2010 Berlin International Film Festival and was nominated for the Teddy Award at
the same festival. It won the Best Australian Short Film at the Melbourne
International Film Festival and won the IF Media Award for Most Popular Film at
Flickerfest.
In 2012, Linda was one of three Australian producers selected for the Rotterdam
Producer’s Lab in The Netherlands. In 2006, Linda was awarded the Emerging
Producer’s Scheme for the Screen Producer’s Association of Australia (SPAA)
conference.
Most recently, Linda’s television series Family Happiness was selected for the Dame
Changer Mentor to Market program and another of her television projects You
Fucking People was successful for Stage 1 of the Create NSW & ABC Half Hour Drama
Initiative.
