Coming from a background in fine arts, Dan is a self-taught director and writer from Manchester, U.K. His zero budget short film, Myra, was recently long-listed for a BAFTA 2012.

 

In just three years of filmmaking, Dan has had short films funded by the UK Film Council and officially selected at over a dozen major festivals including SXSW, Raindance and Rushes Soho.

 

Dan was one of the writer-directors selected for the summer development of iFeatures 2 – a leading development scheme in the UK, funded by Creative England, the BFI Film Fund, and the BBC.
