Domenico Distilo is director and screenwriter. He graduated in directing at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. ‘Inatteso’, his diploma film was presented at the Forum section of the Berlinale and won the award for best documentary at the festival of Alicante and a special jury mention at ‘Archipelago Film Festival’. The screenplay, ‘When Elephants Fight’ received the ‘ Solinas ‘ award for best screenplay. His documentaries are broadcast on public Italian channels. ‘Manga Do, Igort and the manga’s way’, his latest documentary, have been awarded with the public prize at the Biografilm Festival 2018, in Bologna.
