Naike Anna Silipo graduates as actress from the National Academy of Dramatic Art “Silvio d’Amico” in Rome. In 2013 she approaches the study of filmmaking and obtains the Qualification as Assistant Director and Script Supervisor from the school Opra Formazione of Lecce. In 2014 she shoots her first short-film as director, “ImmaginareT”, contending at several national and international festivals and obtains the Special Mention at the Festival Lavori in Corto of Torino, wins ex aequo the Festival of Special Effects of Latina. In 2015 she writes and directs “Io non sono grande”, her second short-film which obtains the Special Mention for Photography at the Festival Corti dei Fabbri of Trieste and wins the Price Tortoreto alla Cultura. LOVE GAI “Giovani Autori Italiani” during the 73° Exhibition of Venice Film Festival. In 2015 she also shoots the Video-Documentary “La Pescatora”, contending at Salina Doc Fest 2016 and at European Cinema Festival of Lecce in the Section Cinema and Territory. Currently she is enrolled in a Master in Cinematographic Writing and Production – University of Sapienza in Rome. Shortly she will resume, again as an actress, the theatrical representation of Euripide’s “Baccanti”, directed by Emma Dante. Along with a team, since 2017 she has been pursuing a Documentary Project on the mutations of Feminism and the fight against gender violence entitled “Revolutionary Sisters”.

Naike Anna Silipo si diploma come attrice presso l’Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica “Silvio d’Amico” di Roma. Nel 2013 si accosta allo studio della regia cinematografica ottenendo la Qualifica di Tecnico Aiuto Regista e Segretaria di Edizione presso la Scuola Opra Formazione di Lecce. Nel 2014 gira il suo primo cortometraggio da regista “ImmaginareT”, in concorso in numerosi festival nazionali e internazionali, che ottiene la Menzione Speciale al Festival Lavori in Corto di Torino e Vince in ex-equo il Festival Affetti Speciali di Latina. Nel 2015 scrive e dirige “Io non sono grande”, suo secondo cortometraggio, che ottiene la Menzione Speciale per la Fotografia al Festival Corti dei Fabbri di Trieste e Vince il Premio Tortoreto alla Cultura. Con ”Io non sono grande” è stata selezionata tra i diciannove registi italiani under 40 in concorso per I LOVE GAI “Giovani Autori Italiani” durante la 73° Mostra del
Cinema al Lido di Venezia. Sempre nel 2015 gira il Video-Documentario “La Pescatora”, in concorso al Salina Doc Fest 2016 e al Festival del Cinema Europeo di Lecce nella Sezione Cinema e Territorio. Attualmente frequenta un Master in Scrittura e Produzione Cinematografica presso l’Università La Sapienza di Roma. Porta avanti la sua carriera di attrice che la vede impegnata nella rappresentazione teatrale “Baccanti” di Euripide, con la regia di Emma Dante. Insieme ad un team, porta avanti dal 2017 un progetto di Documentario sulle mutazioni del Femminismo e la lotta contro la violenza di genere dal titolo “Revolutionary Sisters”.
