Laura Biagini is a young producer, living in Cagliari, Sardinia. She graduated in Communication, and gained a Master’s Degree in Film Business from Escac (Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalonia) in Barcelona. She is a co-founder and producer of Mommotty Film. She has also worked as a line producer in various national and international productions shot in Sardinia. The last ones, Assandira by Salvatore Mereu, premiered in Venice 2020, and What we wanted, a Netflix production which was the official submission of Austria for the Academy Awards in 2021.
Laura has produced many short films and documentaries, and her first feature film Raining Desert, in 2019. She has been selected at the Up&Coming section of Torino Film Lab 2020. She is now developing two projects:Un viaggio a Teulada, an animation feature film in coproduction with France (that was selected at MIFA 2020, and was awarded the Titrafilm prize), and a first feature film.
