Author, cinematographer and animator. He graduated in DAMS and in Cinema, Television and Multimedia Production at University of Bologna. He is the director, screenwriter and cinematographer of “Those Bad Things”, short film awarded at the Venice International Film Critics’ Week and in competition at the Sundance Film Festival. His works and projects were selected at many film markets and he received several awards, among others, the Pitch Me Award at Cartoons on the Bay and a Special Mention at the Solinas Award. He is the director, screenwriter and animator of the short film “Bad Mood”, awarded at Dok Leipzig, Torino Film Festival and Krakow Film Festival, and presented, among others, at Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Slamdance Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival, Ann Arbor Film Festival and Brooklyn Film Festival. He worked as screenwriter and cinematographer of the short film”Veronica Doesn’t Smoke”, awarded as Best Short Film of the Venice International Film Critics’ Week. He worked on screenplay, direction and cinematography of the short film “The shift”, produced with the contribution of Siae-Mibact “Per Chi Crea”. He is the director, screenwriter and animator of the animated short film “Clèb”, and worked as cinematographer and animator for the documentary feature film “The Moment of Transition”. His first feature film “Three” is now in development.
