Claudio Casale is a director from Rome, Italy. After graduating in Business Management, he moved to Asia (India and SEA). Back to Italy he directed “Piccolo Mondo Cane” (2017) and later moved to New York City to attend a directing course at the New York Film Academy.
In 2018, his first short “My Tyson” premiered at the MigrArti section during the 75th Venice International Film Festival, winning the best MigrArti documentary award and later being nominated at the Nastri d’Argento (Silver Ribbon Prize).
Between 2019 and 2020 he wrote, directed and co-produced “Om Devi: Sheroes Revolution”, a VR Film shot in India that premiered at the 77th Venice International Film Festival in the Venice VR Expanded competition.
In 2021, his new short “Shero”, a follow-up story to the VR Film, was nominated at the David di Donatello in the best short film category.
