Eli Zuzovsky is an Italian-Israeli writer and director working across film, television, theater, and literature. A 2021 Rhodes Scholar, he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University with an A.B. in Filmmaking and English. He holds an MSt with distinction in French and German from the University of Oxford, where he teaches European cinema.
Recently, Zuzovsky was selected for the Israeli Forbes “30 Under 30” list, the Séries Mania Writers Campus, the Zurich Film Festival Academy, and the London Library Emerging Writers Programme. His undergraduate thesis film Mazel Tov was shortlisted for an Israeli Academy Award. At Harvard, he received honors like the Sudler Prize in the Arts, the Hoopes Prize, and the Artist Development Fellowship.
Zuzovsky’s work has been presented at the New York Jewish Film Festival, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and the American Repertory Theater, among others. His writing and translations have appeared in publications like Haaretz, The Times of Israel, and The Harvard Political Review. His debut novel is forthcoming from Henry Holt (Macmillan).
