Vincenzo Cavallo is an award-winning filmmaker and digital innovator working across Africa, Europe, and Latin America. His Netflix-streaming feature “Bufis-Daydreamers” won the Berlinale Talent Co-Production Award. He created “African Space Makers,” Africa’s first interactive immersive series, which won the Lumiere Award and XR Must Impact Award. His work includes the feature film “WAZI?FM,” TV series “Pasos de Cumbia,” and numerous documentaries. With a PhD in Communication and New Technologies, Cavallo has worked extensively in Kenya, Somalia, and Latin America since 2007, producing impactful media projects while contributing to academic research.
