Havana, 1978. She graduated as Director of Photography at EICTV, Cuba, 2002, and as Director of Film at HEAD, Switzerland, 2008.She currently lives and works between Switzerland and Spain. She reconciles her personal work as a producer and director, with numerous collaborations as director of photography. Hers works have been presented at prestigious festivals and received numerous distinctions, including the Best Documentary Award at IDFA, Amsterdam, and at the Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana for “In a Whisper”, a feature film co-directed with Patricia Pérez in 2019. With “Otra Isla”, her first feature film as producer & director, she received the Best Documentary award at the Havana Film Festival in New York in 2015. Recently, she decided to found Free100Media, a film production company based in Spain.
