He worked on set since 2001: he was Costume PA on the international of “Inkheart” by Iain Softley, Unit Production Manager on Gabriele Albanesi’s “Ubaldo Terzani Horror Show”, and editor of “Sono tornato al Nord” by Franco Diaferia, “Brokers” by Emiliano Cribari and “Zooschool” by Andrea Tomaselli. As a director, his short films “Lucy” (sci-fi, 2003) and “Video” (thriller, 2004) were finalists in various genre festivals, while “Hot Car” (comedy, 2005) was finalist at the Roma Film Festival and at the New York Short Film Festival, and was awarded best short film at the Reggio Calabria Film Festival 2007 by jury president Carlo Verdone. For CEM Rome, Federico directed the documentary “La prima filme sugli automobili” (2006) with the contribution of Regione Piemonte. Also in 2005 “I corti di Gabriele Cirilli” (famous comedian from tv show “Zelig”) are released by Paramount Home Video. Federico’s first feature film, the thriller “Demon’s Twilight”, was released in 2011 by Minerva Pictures with the support of Piemonte Film Commission, and presented in national premiere at FantaFestival in Rome.
