Melissa is an award-winning Sydney-based director and writer who works across multiple disciplines including film, documentary and music videos.

Melissa’s film work explores the intersection of personal relationships with gender, sexuality, class and race. Melissa’s feature film screenplays have previously selected for the Binger FilmLab and shortlisted for the Sundance Lab, and her short films have screened extensively at festivals including BFI London, Uppsala and Tampere Film Festivals.

Milk & Honey is her debut feature film.
