Francesca Vargiu has a degree in Modern Literature, with a specialization in Entertainment Sciences and Multimedia Production and a Master in Law and Economics of Art Culture. In 2015 she collaborated with the Sardegna Film Commission Foundation for several projects including the Berlinale, the Venice International Film Festival and the BTO. In the following years she collaborated with various Italian film productions, including Indigo Film (“Loro” by Paolo Sorrentino), Apnea Film (“I wonder when you will miss me” by Francesco Fei) and Fandango (“Il Muto di Gallura”, by Matteo Fresi, and “Pantafa”, by Emanuele Scaringi).
In 2019, she started her collaboration with Diero srl, with which she produced “Timo’s Winter”, by Giulio Mastromauro (David di Donatello 2020), and “Come a Mìcono”, by Alessandro Porzio. In the same years, she has joined the Figari International Short Film Fest & Olbia Film Network, for which she has been coordinating the Festival and the Market, working in synergy with the Artistic Director and the Head of Industry in the development of all the activities of the program.
