Carlo Gabriele Tribbioli is a visual artist and director with a degree in philosophy. Born in 1982 in Rome, where he lives and works, he has also lived in Sulaymaniyah in Iraq. His filmmaking approach is rooted in the experience of experimental and art cinema. His artistic practice is project-oriented, based on long-distance researches resulting in narrative paths built through multimedia installations, books, and film. His works have been showcased at galleries, museums, and art institutions, including ICA, London; Centre d’Art Contemporain, Genéve; OCAT, Shanghai; De Vleeshal, Middelburg; MACRO, Rome; MAMbo, Bologna; Museo del ‘900 and PAC in Milan.
