H. has been nominated for the Kiehl’s Someone to Watch Award at the 30th Independent Spirit Awards! The other contenders are A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night by Ana Lily Amirpour, and The Retrieval by Chris Eska. The winners will be announced Feb. 21.

The 21st annual Someone to Watch Award, sponsored by Kiehl’s Since 1851, recognizes a talented filmmaker of singular vision who has not yet received appropriate recognition. The award includes a $25,000 unrestricted grant funded by Kiehl’s Since 1851.

H., finalist of 2013/14 Biennale College – Cinema, is directed by Rania Attieh and Daniel Garcia, and produced by Shruti Rya Ganguly and Pierce Varous. It premiered at the 2014 Venice International Film Festival.
