Gino Ventriglia – group leader
Story editor and script consultant both for cinema and television; he’s a tutor for TorinoFilmLab as well for other international development programs. He won a Fulbright Fellowship, and got a Master of Fine Arts in Directing and Scriptwriting at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He teaches drama writing at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, the Italian National School of Cinema. He has written screenplays for cinema and television, like the script for Arrivederci amore, ciao by Michaele Soavi. He lives in Rome.
Chiara Laudani – Script Tutor
She trained at the Holden School at the Master in Storytelling Techniques, then at the Training Course for RAI Screenwriters and at the Workshop of specialization “Laboratorio Fiction” Mediaset. Has experience as a copywriter (Milan and Turin) and author of texts for comics, published the stories Baia Chia for Panta, Bompiani. She wins the 1997 Solinas Award, the Festival Corto in Bra, the Medusa Distribution Award. He works in television. Marietta von Hausswolff von Baumgarten – script tutor
Marietta is a Swedish screenwriter for film and TV, and an international script consultant whose work over the last 13 years includes Sundance Labs, Torino Film Lab, Binger (Amsterdam),
Biennale College Venice(international and national), Feature Expanded (Manchester, Florens), Hezaya (Doha), Tiff Studio Toronto FF, Cinelink Drama Sarajevo, Bridging the Dragon, Talent Campus, Midpoint, Fly Film lab (Philippines, Korea), Locarno open doors and Myanmar Script Fund (Yangon).
She has done script development in Russia, China, Mongolia, Nepal and with Pakistan. She’s been in international juries, such as CPH Dox (Denmark) and San Miguel (Mexico) main competitions.
Marietta studied at Tisch School of Arts NYC and is a voting member of the European film Academy and longtime member of the Swedish Writers Guild.
She has worked extensively with development and writing of TV-series. She was recently in the writer’s room and as episode writer for Adam Price’s (Borgen) new Netflix series.
The films Marietta has consulted on have competed in film festivals all around the world – such as The Babadook, Nancy, Hunting Season, H, Diamond island, The Fits, Le Quattro Volte, Svinalängorna, Too late to die young, Children of Sarajevo, The Heiresses, Jesus, The Load, Mediterranea, Sole, Litigante, Pari and others.
Her feature film Call Girl won the Fipresci award in Toronto, competed in places like Torino, Palm Springs, Stockholm, Buenos Aires, and Taipei.
Together with Anthea Devotta she founded the Write Retreat, the right place to write.
Eilon Ratzkovsky – Producer tutor
Eilon Ratzkovsky produced feature films and TV series over the past 25 years, as CEO of July August Productions, an Israeli production company which he has created in 2003. Among the 22 films that he produced are “The Band’s Visit”, “Mountain”, “Zero Motivation” – all of which participated and won prizes in major film festivals. He produced numerous TV series in Israel, some have been remade into local versions around the world. In the past year, he has been tutoring for TorinoFilmLab as well as heading the TFL Extended. He also heads “Quiddity”, a content company that specializes in developing high quality TV dramas for European networks
Stefano Tealdi – Producer tutor
Born in South Africa in 1955, he graduated in Architecture at the Politecnico di Torino in Italy. He co-founded Stefilm in 1985 where he develops, produces and at times directs, feature length films and documentary series. Stefilm’s internationally acclaimed films include MY HOME, IN LIBYA by Martina Melilli (Locarno FF 2018, Chicago IFF 2018, DOK Leipzig 2018).
