Benjamin Bee is a Newcastle (U.K.) based writer and director, his work has screened at over 200 festivals worldwide and has been long-listed for the BAFTA twice. He’s directed projects for the likes of C4 and Baby Cow. Benjamin has refined a unique voice and creates work that is deeply personal that really resonates with audiences, while still finding room for comedy to thrive. He won the Nisi Masa European Short Pitch and is a graduate of The London Film School, where he was supported by a full Skillset bursary based on his background and previous work. His latest short film Metroland, was funded by Creative England and the BFI, the project was supported by Mike Leigh and he even appeared in the crowdfunding video. Currently he is developing his first feature.

Ben also likes to go bowling and just bought his own ball… mind… he’s still shit, and the bowling alley just shut down… but that’s life… I guess.
