Chiara Campara graduated in Philosophy at Università degli Studi di Milano and studied Documentary Filmmaking at Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti, Milan.
Her documentary short Photofinish has been selected in the documentary short competition at Festival dei Popoli 2014 and screened at Filmmaker Festival, Bergamo Film Meeting, Milano Film Festival. With Matteo Ninni and Carlo Tartivita she realized Sotterranea, a documentary project both linear and interactive, in competition at Visioni dal Mondo 2016 and winner of the Best Web-Doc Award at Capodarco L’Altro Festival 2016. Her last documentary film Tempting Promises, co-directed with Lorenzo Faggi, won the Imperdibili award at Festival dei Popoli 2017 and was selected in competition at Visioni Italiane, Full Frame Festival (US) and Trento Film Festival 2018.
