Piotr Stasik (1976) – director, director of photography, editor, creator of creative documentaries. Graduated from Adam Wajda Film School and Warsaw University (Social Studies Department).
Author of documentary films such as “7 x Moscow”, “The end of summer”, “A Diary of a Journey”, “21 x New York”, “Opera about Poland” – awarded at numerous international film festivals.
In 2016 nominated for the European Film Award for „21 x New York” Author of educational films and film coverages from music festivals and classical music festivals.
Winner of Golden Frog – cinematography award for „The end of summer” at Camerimage Festival (Poland, 2010).
He co-founded the Association for Artistic Initiatives “ę”, an NGO supporting cultural undertakings in small towns. In 2002-2010 he was the chairman of the association (www.e.org.pl).
In 2006-2011 he lectured at Film Kindergarten at Wajda School. In 2011, he created a set of 21 films as part of the „Muzykoteka Szkolna” project (commissioned by the National Audio-visual Institute and Ministry of Culture)
