Memphis is coming to U.S. theaters and VOD! Kino Lorber will distribute the film theatrically stateside this summer, and Vimeo has acquired an exclusive 30-day worldwide digital window on the film following its theatrical release. Richard Lorber, Kino head, said:

We’re so pleased to be able to bring this exceptional film to cinema audiences. It’s a seductive yet bracing film of style, intelligence and mood that is ultimately and intimately about the creative process itself.

Memphis is directed by Tim Sutton and produced by John Baker, and it’s one of the finalist movies of 2012/13 Biennale College – Cinema. It world premiered at the 2013 Venice International Film Festival and was in competition at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival in the NEXT section.

It was also acquired by AMC/Sundance Channel Global for all territories where the Sundance Channel is seen, and it will premiere exclusively on Sundance Channel this Spring.
