Yordan Petkov is a writer, director and producer, whose award-winning short films Auf Wiedersehen (2015, BG) and Night Shift (2020, BG/BE/FR), competed in some of the world’s most prestigious festivals, such as Clermont-Ferrand and Warsaw, among others, and went on to be distributed internationally.

He has graduated various industry training programmes, including Torino Script Lab, Euro Connection, Sarajevo Talents, Robert Bosch Stiftung Workshop, and EastWeek Scriptwriting Workshop. “Resonance” is his debut feature, in development at Torino ScriptLab 2021.

Yordan will be defending his master’s degree in film directing from the Bulgarian National Academy of Film and Theatre Arts this year.
