Sogol Rezvani was born in Tehran, Iran in 1988. She started her artistic life at the age of 8 by playing the violin. At the age of 14, she also started to work as an actress in plays.

She began her filmmaking and screenwriting career in 2005 when she started her bachelor’s degree in cinema studies at the Art University of Tehran. Later on, she received her MFA (Master of Fine Arts) in film from San Francisco Art Institute at San Francisco, California in 2014.

After returning to Iran, she became a member of Iranian Short Film Association (ISFA) and is fallowing her career based in Tehran, Iran.
