Kitchen of Memories is an intimate immersive gastronomy experience inspired by N.K. Jemisin’s short story, “Cuisine de Mémoires.” The project marries the art of storytelling, gastronomy, and technology to create a unique, shared, multi-sensory journey entirely experienced in Mixed Reality.

Kitchen of Memories is a 30-minute, 5 hors-d’oeuvre course meal designed for a table of four.
Rooted in storytelling, Kitchen of Memories revolves around food’s unique ability to recall past experiences and form new connections and investigates food’s relationship to personal memories, collective identities, and cultural diversity.
