Loran Bonnardot is a photographer, whose work has been exhibited,
individually or collectively, on different occasions (TRISTAN, Paris 1997, EXVOTO,
Naples 2007, UNTITLED, Arles 2012).
Originally, Loran is an ENT and emergency physician who has progressively
developed a strong interest for isolated environments.
As part of his missions (for both corporate and humanitarian initiatives), he
has travelled the Antarctic Lands and many remote islands (Kerguelen, Saint-
Paul, Crozet, etc.).
He has been travelling to Tristan da Cunha regularly for the past 20 years and
has collected a vast amount of films and stills, documenting its landscapes, its
habits and customs and its everyday aspects.
Loran Bonnardot lives in Paris (France).
