EuiJeong is from a family of artists. Her father and sister are both well-respected artists working in fine art; EuiJeong has chosen a career in moving image and film. She previously studied visual design at Korean National University of Arts in South Korea. After her graduation, she worked in the TV commercial industry in Korea for 2 years working for Darling and Coda productions. She produced numerous commercials for many clients such as Pizza Hut, Sony and Samsung. To pursue her dream of making films, she moved to London in 2009 to study at the London Film School and graduated in Filmmaking, focusing on directing.
Since graduating, EuiJeong has been directing and writing short films and music videos including ‘BETTER THAN TOMORROW’ that has been selected at various international film festivals. Her next short script, ‘SAY MY NAME’, a satirical sci-fi short was selected at ShortTV the Pitch and won the Best Live Pitch at the NexT Film Festival. She is currently in development of her first feature film project ‘VOICE OF SILENCE’ a Korean black comedy thriller.
EuiJeong also works as a cinematographer and camera operator on factual and narrative projects. She had a short drama selected for Venice film festival and has worked on a documentary for Mariana Abramovic. She is part of Toybox an all female directing collective based in London.
