Anton Outkine is a director, screenwriter and post-production director at Lateral Summer film studio. Born in Leningrad, Soviet Union, Anton dropped out of college and worked as a graphic and UX/UI designer, co-founded a small design studio, did several research projects for Intel and taught interactive design at British Higher School of Art & Design, Moscow’s leading design school. Since 2011 Anton wrote and directed several sci-fi shorts, as well as TV and online commercials and music videos.Anton’s latest project, an interactive young adult web-series “It’s Complicated”, depicting a life of a HIV-positive girl, premiered online in early February of 2018 with 250K+ viewers to date and overwhelmingly positive media coverage.Since April 2018, Anton is teaching new media and interactive filmmaking at Moscow Film School
