Patricia Echeverria is a multi-media artist, designer, and psychologist whosework spans across multiple disciplines (including: architecture, immersivetechnologies, storytelling, therapy, & social justice,) to explore the ways that wecan bridge perceptual, socio-cultural differences & design (physical, emotional,and digital) spaces to foster human connection, compassion, and empathyacross physical and socio-political divides.She has collaborated on international projects including ‘Parallel Utopias,’ anenvironmental conflict-resolution design scheme at the Korean DMZ, ‘LockeJetspace’ an award-winning library of the future in South Central Los Angeles,‘City 2.0,’ a global ‘design for change’ platform, as part of the 2012 TED Prize,and more. She has designed experiences and facilitated workshops withinternational organizations like World Economic Forum, LAUSD, Design forAmerica, UNDP, Global Design Jam, Wheels for Humanity, and more. She is aSingularity University Mentor and a Sandbox Fellow. Her work has beenfeatured on The Guardian, Fast Company, Domus, & National Geographicpublications.
