Director Emanuel Nordrum graduated from the Norwegian Film School in 2018 with a bachelor in screenwriting. His final film, The Culture, has won a number of international awards, including Best Screenplay at the Moscow Short Film Festival, and both the Grand Jury Prize and Students of Angers Award at Premiers Plans.

Jennifer and Emanuel met while participating at the Off-Piste Lab for virtual reality storytellers in Lillehammer, Norway in October 2019. The Wolf and the Lamb will be their first full project for virtual reality.
