Sol Berruezo Pichon-Rivière (19-02-1996) is a 24-year old Argentinian director, graduated in Film Direction at the “Universidad delcine” (Buenos Aires, Argentina). In 2017, with only 21 years old, she won the rst price of a contest held by the INCAA (Argentinian Film institute) to support rst movies of new directors.
“Mamá, mamá, mamá” (Mum, mum, mum) is her rst movie, and it was only made by women: both in the crew and in the cast. Her debut lm was presented at the Berlinale 70th in the Generation section, where it also was awarded with the Special Mention of the International Jury. She was also the youngest director in the 70th edition of the Berlinale lm festival. Her lm was also screened at the San Sebastian lm festival 68th edition in the section “Horizontes Latinos”.
