Born in Cuenca in 1988. He studied film at Universidad del cine in Buenos Aires. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Creation at Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola in San Sebastián. He participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus 2020.
He has written and directed the film La muerte del maestro (Rotterdam, 2018); as well as the short films: La enorme presencia de los muertos (Festival de San Sebastián, 2019), Speed Paradise (BAFICI, 2015), Conversaciones en el jardín (BAFICI, 2014) and Ricchieri (2013).
His work has been shown in festivals such as: Rotterdam, San Sebastián, Mar del Plata, BAFICI, Underdox Munich, Márgenes, Sao Paulo, Biarritz, Fribourg, Anthology Film Archives, among others.
He also works as producer, editor and sound director in several short and feature films.
He works as a programmer at the film festival Eurocine Ecuador.
He has published several articles in magazines and academic studies.
