Marija Dimitrova graduated as a software engineer in 2011.
She is a final year student at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje, in the Production department, and is expected to graduate in October 2019.

In the past seven years she has been working in the film industry in Macedonia, mainly as a producer and line producer, and she has produced 12 short films.

Since, February 2016 she runs her own production company, List Production.

Her first feature film as producer, SISTER by Dina Duma, will go into production in October 2019 and is expected to be released in 2020.

Marija is a Talents Sarajevo (2015), Midpoint (2015) and Maia Workshops (2016) alumni and a winner of the promoting prize for young East European producers from Film Festival Cottbus for 2016, donated by GWFF.
