Christine Sanders is a Film and Digital Creative Producer and Writer based in Los Angeles, CA. In addition to producing independent films like Madame Négritude, she is a Supervising Creative Producer at BuzzFeed where she manages a team of writers, producers, and directors who create branded content. Prior to BuzzFeed, she was the Director of Production at the Wall Street Journal Custom Studios, where she oversaw global production for documentary-style branded content videos including the viral advertising campaign Cocainenomics for Netflix. Sanders has received numerous accolades for her work including a Webby, Cannes Lions, Telly, and IAA Brilliance Award. In 2018, she was a featured creator in Essence Magazine, Afropunk, Mic, Ozy, and other publications for her web series Barely Adults. Sanders has also worked at MTV Networks as an Associate Producer and the Food Network as a Development Coordinator. She is a graduate of New York University with concentrations in Journalism and Africana Studies.
