Giada Mazzoleni is a film producer and film educator based in Cheltenham, UK. Originally from Milan, she worked for two years as a development producer alongside the producer Franco Bocca Gelsi (Fame Chimica, Fuga dal call center, L’ultimo pastore), as well as working for prestigious film companies that included hFilm, Enormous Film, Filmgood, NCN, 360FX, The Blink Fish and Cattleya. In 2018 she moved permanently in Uk, in Birmingham she started Paguro Film, which produced the short film Moths to Flame (2018) Silver Ribbon Award, directed by Marco Pellegrino and the feature documentary Fulci for Fake (2019) directed by Simone Scafidi selected at Mostra Internazionale del Cinema di Venezia and at Sitges. As an educator, Giada Mazzoleni has taught at the Civic School of Cinema in Milan. She is now working with the Vice Consul to launch the Birmingham Italian Film Festival in 2020/2021. In the last 2019 she was chosen to take part in a Women leadership programme supported by Creative England in Birmingham, with Rachel Robey from Wellington film as her mentor. In june 2020 the Biennale of Venice selected her project IN BETWEEN directed by Marco Pellegrino for the Biennale Cinema College programme. She collaborates with the Cheltenham International Film Festival and in Wales with the Abertoir Horror Festival as programmer. Since 2020 EWA member and part of Women in Film & TV (UK).
