BERARDO CARBONI, director and producer, in 2015 he founds the film company PIROETTA S.R.L. with producer Valerio Palusci. In 2017 the first feature of the company directed by him, YOUTOPIA, with Matilda de Angelis, sustained by MIC, available on Amazon Prime e Netflix, is presented at the festivals of Raindance, Rabat and Montreal, distributed in Italy by KochMedia and China by Huya ICC. In 2018 he wins the MIBACT CNC (Italy-France) development call with his feature film THIRTEEN THURSDAYS, selected among the ten projects presented during the Pitching Days of Locarno Film Festival 2019, winner in 2022 of prestigious European development fund SLATE MEDIA CREATIVE. In 2019 he directs and produces the documentary ETHOS, sustained by the European Commission and distributed by 102distribution. In 2020 his company wind together with CARNADA S.P.A. the development fund MIBACT Italy-Chile with documentary by Golden Globe Daniele Stocchi MONTE CALVARIO, and produces the documentary PLAGA by Simone Carnesecchi. In 2021 he produces and directs the docu-serie CONSTITUTIONAL CIRCUS, presented at the Venice Film Festival 2021; and produces the shortfilm DIORAMA by Camilla Carè, supported by MIBACT and Apulia FIlm Commission, presented at the Rome Film Fest and the Ortigia FIlm Festival, shortlisted at the 67th edition of David di Donatello, now in the “Fare cinema” review and recently acquired by Rai Cinema. Always in 2021 the docu-series EL BUEN VIVIR wins the intercontinental development call IBERMEDIA, in 2022 winner also of the SLATE FUND CREATIVE MEDIA EUROPE. In 2022 he produces the documentary LA BUSSOLA by Andrea Caciagli, supported by the Presidency of the European Council and the Lazio Region, and begins the development of feature film THEY FROM LIBRINO, also project winner of the fund SLATE MEDIA CREATIVE 2022, by Angela Bevilaqua, an idea by Tea Falco. In May 2023 the documentary THE PERFORMANCE by Alfredo Chiarappa e Caterina Clerici is premiered at the Lower East Side Festival in New York.

Nel 2021 produce e dirige la docu-serie CONSTITUTIONAL CIRCUS, presentata al Festival di Venezia 2021; e produce il cortometraggio DIORAMA di Camilla Carè, supportato da MIBACT e Apulia FIlm Commission, presentato alla Festa del Cinema di Roma e all’Ortigia FIlm Festival, tra i 5 finalisti alla 67^ edizione dei David di Donatello, presente nella rassegna “Fare cinema” e recentemente acquisito da Rai Cinema. Sempre nel 2021 la docu-serie EL BUEN VIVIR vince il bando intercontinentale IBERMEDIA per lo sviluppo, nel 2022 vincitrice anche del fondo SLATE MEDIA CREATIVE. Nel 2022 produce il documentario LA BUSSOLA by Andrea Caciagli, sostenuta dalla Presidenza del Consiglio Europeo e da Regione Lazio; e comincia lo sviluppo del film THEY FROM LIBRINO, pure progetto vincitore del fondo di sviluppo SLATE MEDIA CREATIVE 2022, di Angela Bevilacqua, da un’idea di Tea Falco. A maggio 2023 il documentario THE PERFORMANCE di Alfredo Chiarappa e Caterina Clerici è in anteprima al Lower East Side Festival di New York.
