Marcian Lazar is a producer based in Bucharest, Romania. He has an engineering, business and project management background.

Together with Daniel Mitulescu, he finished in 2011 the production of “LOVERBOY”, the second film of Catalin Mitulescu selected in Cannes 2011 Certain Regard.

In 2013 he finished the production of WOLF – director and writer Bogdan Mustata; premiered in Competition at Sarajevo Film Festival.

He is the associate producer for the feature film “WHEN I WANT OT WHITLE, I WHISTLE” by Florin Serban, writer: Catalin Mitulescu and Florin Serban.

Marcian produced the short film “MUSIC IN THE BLOOD” (2010) by Alexandru Mavrodineanu selected in Clermond Ferrand and winner of 8 international prizes.

He is currently producing “and “TOTONEL’ a documentary by Alexander Nanau – IDFA Forum 2011 and Sundance Documentary Grant 2012 and Sundance Documentary Edit Lab 2013 and he is developing IMACULAT, directed by Kenneth Mercken and written by Monica Stan.
