After studying philosophy in Rome, where she was born, Ludovica graduated at the NFTS in the Uk and she founded filmmaking collective Kitchen Sink Films together 7 other international filmmakers. She directed several mid and feature-length documentaries among which the award winning “The Real Social Network”, “Letters from Palestine” and “Fear and Desire, the film”. She teaches Documentary & Experimental filmmaking in the London. She is very committed to filmmaking as an art that can actively engage with social issues society and make a difference. She believes in creating safe spaces for filmmakers to nurture their creativity and in committing to opening the society through debates generated by films, in Italy and in an international context.
