Claudia De Angelis was born and raised in Caserta. After wearing a few different hats working as a copywriter, freelance translator, film maker, and graphic designer, at 21 she finally moved to Rome to pursue a career in film. In 2016 she graduated in Screenwriting at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, and has been working as a screenwriter for both television and the big screen. She is also a co-founder and producer at an independent production company, producing experimental short films as well as commercial content. She co-wrote the action-thriller THE BEAST (La Belva, directed by Ludovico Di Martino), which premiered on Netflix in 2020 at the top of Italy’s most viewed content.

She enjoys watching basketball, speaks fluent English, passable Spanish and can sing a decent rendition of the Lithuanian national anthem.
