David Glahner Wedel has been writing and working with film since camera phones became accessible 15 years ago, usually focusing on traditional storytelling within flat screen media. That all changed when he entered the Professional Bachelor called Film & Transmedia in Aarhus, and began exploring alternative ways of telling stories, such as Virtual Reality and web series.
David has written and directed the award-winning VR-experience Separate Silences, as well as a fully interactive, 2-person VR-installation. He has also edited traditional short films, a stop motion short, and developed a web series for young adults.
Though the mediums can differ greatly from project to project, the stories are always set in a universe where anything can happen, with complex characters and deeply emotional conclusions.
