Helena Carpio is a journalist, documentary photographer and international relations major from Boston University. She has worked for ABC, Irin News, Americas Quarterly, Weekendavisen (Denmark), Dagsavisen (Norway), among others. Her work has also been published in the Washington Post, Huffington Post, Rolling Stone (México), Miami Herald, Clarín (Colombia), El País (España), El Nacional (Venezuela), El Universal (Venezuela) among others. Her documentary work with ABC “Zero Hour: Venezuela’s crisis” was
nominated for an Emmy in 2018 for Outstanding Feature Story in Spanish. Nowadays she is the Chief Innovation Officer in Prodavinci, a Venezuelan online magazine that focuses on investigative journalism and public policy analysis.
