In un pomeriggio d’estate, Vittorio ed Armandino, due fratelli di 11 e 6 anni, giocano nel giardino della loro ricca casa, mentre il suono di un’esplosione li interrompe, segnando un profondo cambio nella loro vita. Giorni dopo, i due fratelli si trovano improvvisamente a partecipare al funerale del padre, quando la madre, Manuela, riceve da sua suocera una proposta: “vieni a vivere con me”. Da quel momento, comportamenti sempre più ambigui e morbosi coinvolgono l’intera famiglia, portando alla luce un oscuro passato.

In a summer afternoon, Vittorio and Armandino, two brothers of 11 and 6 years old, are playing in the garden of their rich house, when the sound of an explosion interrupts them, signing a deep change in their life. A few days later, the two brothers find themselves all of a sudden to paricipate the funeral of their father, while their mother, Manuela, receives from her mother in law a proposal: “Come and live with me”. From that moment, increasingly ambiguous and morbid behaviors involve the entire family, coming to light a dark family past.
