Isabella Rinaldi is a documentary director and producer. She graduated from the DocNomads Master Course and she is a Berlinale Talents alumna. In 2016 she co-founded N oCut Film Collective based in India, Romania and Italy. The collective produces author-driven documentaries, envisioning filmmaking as collaborative and transcultural. The first production of NoCut, co-directed and co-produced by Isabella, “A Rifle and a Bag” (2020, 89 mins, India, Romania, Qatar) won the Special Mention of the Jury at 2020 International Film Festival Rotterdam in the Bright Future Competition and has been shown in over 50 festivals around the world like Visions du Reel, Torino FF, Busan IFF. With NoCut she co-produced “No Winter Holidays” by Rajan Kathet and Sunir Pandey which premiered at 2023 Sheffield DocFest. The film got the Nativa Award at Alternativa Film Awards. Her short film “Liberland” (Belgium, 52 min) had its world premiere in Visions du Réel in 2022 and was broadcasted on the Flemish national television VRT.
In 2024 she worked as editing consultant for the Lebanese director Farah Kassem on her debut feature film “We are Inside”, premiering in Visions du Réel 2024. “Fuoristagione” is her first fiction feature film.

Isabella Rinaldi è regista e produttrice di documentari. Ha frequentato il Master in Regia Documentaria DocNomads e ha partecipato a Berlinale Talents 2021. Con NoCutvha co-prodotto “No Winter Holidays” di Rajan Kathet e Sunir Pandey, presentato in anteprimaval 2023 Sheffield DocFest. Il film ha ricevuto il Nativa Award agli Alternativa Film Awards.
