Posted by Samm Haillay & Ben Young“How did you meet?”
Posted by Samm Haillay & Ben YoungBen: “In 2009, after screening our documentary feature Isolation at Edinburgh film festival, we met Samm Haillay among the teeming bodies in a loud Scottish pub. He was really interested in Isolation, we both loved Better Things, it was an exciting time. There was a shared cinematic sensibility and we began to speak more frequently over the next couple of years as we started to develop Blood Cells. In Christmas 2011, Third signed on to the film and we have been hard at work honing it with Ben and Samm ever since through CPH:FORUM and now on to Biennale Cinema College”.
